Upon delivery. All customer cheques to be made out to your group not Bluenose fundraising. Bluenose is to be paid by cash, organization cheque, money order or e-transfer.

Where do I find the baking instructions for pies?

For fruit-based pies:

  1. Pre heat oven to 400 F (200 C) Convection oven to 370 F (188 C)
  2. Place the frozen pie on a baking sheet
  3. Bake for 40-50 minutes until pastry is golden brown
  4. Remove the pie from the oven and cool completely before slicing

For apple-based pies:

  1. Pre heat oven to 400 F (200 C) Convection oven to 370 F (188 C)
  2. Place the frozen pie on a baking sheet
  3. Bake for 50-60 minutes until pastry is golden brown and the apples are the desired tenderness
  4. Remove the pie from the oven and cool completely before slicing

For pumpkin pie & pecan pie:

  1. Simply thaw & serve!

  • 1. Line the products the way they appear on the order sheet. This way you can go down the line and fill your order.
  • 2. Have someone double check the order you filled to make sure it is correct.
  • 3. Doing these simple steps will make your sorting go quickly and efficiently.

How to run a fundraiser

  • 1. Decide on your start date and length of campaign. Usually 2-3 weeks is long enough.
  • 2. Pass out your order forms and indicate when you want them returned, there is room on the order sheet to do this.
  • 3. Designate someone to total the sheets when they are returned.
  • 4. Double check your numbers before calling in your order.
  • 5. Once your order is placed, the delivery date will be determined.
  • 6. Organize a couple of volunteers to be on hand for delivery to sort orders, the participants then can pick up the product they sold and deliver to their customers.
